The Lifesaver is a short film about a notorious ex-convict, inspired by true events. The main character, Vuyo Puza, is played by talented young actor, Sihle Shona Mnqwazana. When Vuyo was a little boy, he dreamt of being a lifesaver. As a young adult, his life took a turn for the worse. He ended up behind bars because of his involvement in a series of high-scale robberies. Vuyo ultimately found Jesus, and soon became a different kind of lifesaver.
